Tucumcari. We stayed nearby and I had the chance to video some of the local historical Route 66 businesses. This is Tee-Pee Curios. The building started it’s journey as a Gulf Petroleum gas station. In the mid-forties the Route was two lanes going through Tucumcari. When Route 66 was widened in the late fifties, it became a curio and gift shop.
